My Responsibilities to you:
I believe that college learning is
characterized by shared responsibilities between the instructor and the
students. As such, I will:
- provide you with opportunities to
increase your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter;
- be accessible and available to you
for courses I teach or make every effort to reply to your messages at my
earliest convenience;
- avoid assigning "busy-work", but
design every assignment and examination with the purpose of improving your
learning experience;
- treat you as if you are a paying
customer for the services I provide.
Your Responsibilities to me:
It is my opinion that you should treat my
courses as if they are a part-time job. As such, I expect you to:
- be diligent and on time in performing
the work required by the class;
- behave in professional manner and to
treat the instructor and fellow students respectfully;

me prior to any meetings or assignment deadlines if unable to comply for
any reason;
- be prepared for the examinations and
to display complete honesty when taking them;
- obtain the required course materials
(books, etc.) and STUDY them;
- gain access to a computer so that you
can complete the required assignments and exams;
- understand that I DO NOT GIVE grades,
I report the grade YOU EARNED.

*All information collected is for the Instructor's solo
use, and will be destroyed at the end of the semester.
